Insurance offered to qualified VTBA members*

VTBA offers several insurance programs to its qualified members. The following is an overview of these programs with links to web pages which describe the respective programs in more detail:

Commercial

VTBA has joined with Acadia Insurance Company to form a safety group through which several lines of insurance are available. The program includes competitive rates, dividends, one hour claim service and more.

Dental Insurance Provided by Northeast Delta Dental

This is a fully insured Voluntary Dental Plan with Northeast Delta Dental. Members receive a discount of more than 30% on premiums as opposed to going to NE Delta Dental directly. No minimum employee participation required.

When you join the Vermont Truck and Bus Association Northeast Delta Dental Program, you’re backed by two organizations which are renowned for providing businesses such as yours with the very best service available.

First, you have access to the services provided by the Vermont Truck and Bus Transport Association – the organization which has built its reputation by assisting businesses like yours for over 60 years.

Then, there is NE Delta Dental – the oldest, largest and most innovative dental plan in the country.  The experts at NE Delta Dental will administer your program on a day-to-day-basis making sure to give you exceptional services.

How to Join?
You will need to fill out and sign a joinder agreement and then have employees complete enrollment forms which are then sent to VTBA.   VTBA will process all forms and submit them to NE Delta Dental on your behalf.     You will receive a monthly invoice from VTBA and all payments must be sent to the VTBA office.  To get copies of the agreement, enrollments and supplies call the VTBA office at 802-479-1778 or e-mail vera@vtba.org.


Supplemental Voluntary Coverage

Through AFLAC, VTBA members can get competitive rates on disability, accident, hospital, cancer, heart & stroke and life insurance.

AFLAC pays money directly to you, in addition to any other insurance you may have.  AFLAC’s money can be used for anything you want.  This helps to pay for any and all out of pocket expenses.
