The Board Meeting will be held from 10:00 am to Noon, followed by a Legislative Luncheon from Noon to 1:30. Commissioner Robert Ide and Director Elovirta have been invited to speak about OS/OW permits and current rules on movements during inclement weather. Bill Smith will facilitate the discussion. We have also asked Ture Nelson, FMCSA for an update on new rules.
Please consider attending this meeting, we would like a good turnout so that the legislators will see we have a strong interest in what happens to our industry in Montpelier. We would appreciate it if you could respond if you can make the meeting. Coffee and pastries/donuts will be served along with a buffet lunch following the meeting. Indicate if you are able to stay for lunch so that we may provide accurate numbers for the restaurant.
